You are invited to grow in community Just As You Are through discussions and activities with others. PORCH offers events such as Book Studies, PORCH Talks, God Questions, Music and more.

 

Gentle Yoga (6:00 pm – 7:15 pm) Room #14

Come Just As You Are to yoga! Remember to bring your mat. Don’t have a mat?  Borrow one of our mats. Our Yoga group is taught by a certified Yoga Instructor with experience teaching yoga to people with various abilities from beginner to advanced.  You’ll enjoy this meditative movement at PORCH. 

 Never tried Yoga before? Our Yoga group is taught by Lynn Solomon, a certified Yoga Instructor with experience teaching yoga to people with various abilities from beginner to advanced. Afraid your body isn’t able to move into Yoga positions? No worries, our instructor can modify each pose to ensure your experience is a positive one. Worried about your joint replacement? Our instructor also has experience teaching chair yoga so your joints won’t be pushed past their limits. You’ll enjoy this meditative movement at PORCH.

How safe do you feel? Come join us as we learn how to feel safer in today’s environment. Lead by Rebecca Ekmark

 

April 24:  Let’s celebrate Earth Day with live music. Join us as we enjoy singing old favorite songs, “This Land is Your Land” “Pass It On” “Take Me Home Country Road” to name a few. (lyrics will be provided) Music led by Gerald and Rachel Bodas
